Caddens is an area in Western Sydney. The planned suburb is around 50 kilometres west of central Sydney and is located just to the north of the M4 and just to the east of Penrith and South Penrith.
Caddens is a great place to live and raise a family. You get the benefits of living in a smaller suburb that’s been planned and built more recently than many areas of Sydney (it was fully developed by the end of 2016). You have everything you need nearby as well as easy access into both central Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
Caddens is a great place to live! Locals speak of the suburb’s careful planning, transport connectivity, nearby green spaces, good education options for all ages, and sense of community.
Nearby Kingswood train station is a great asset to the Caddens area as it offers express as well as regular trains into Sydney’s central business district as well as to Parramatta. In terms of driving, Caddens is just north of the M4 motorway, which takes you all the way into Sydney or, in the other direction, into the Blue Mountains. If you want to head south or further north, the A9 is also nearby. For further afield trips, you’ll be around 10 kilometres away from the soon-to-be-built Western Sydney Airport!
No matter what age and stage your children are at, there is an education opportunity in or near Caddens. Claremont Meadows Public School is the go for younger children, followed by Kingswood High School for teenagers. There’s also St Dominic’s College, a Catholic high school for boys. Then, once tertiary education is on the radar, look no further than Western Sydney University’s Kingswood Campus.
Caddens is located almost exactly in the centre of the local government area of Penrith City Council, which looks after the area located between the Blue Mountains to the west, Liverpool to the south, Blacktown to the east and Hawkesbury to the north.
